From OE sample tovalidated new SKU.

Engineered right the first time.

Han Yale develops new window regulators and motors through a structured New Product Development process built on APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning). Every program starts from an original door and OE sample, is refined with 3D scanning, simulation and in-house tooling, and is released only after full validation — minimising risk, time and cost for our customers.

APQP-Based Product Development

Five stages. Zero shortcuts.

APQP is the automotive industry’s framework for planning quality into a product before production starts. Each stage closes with defined deliverables, so issues are found on paper and in the lab — not in the field.

STAGE 01

Market Research

Vehicle parc and demand analysis, customer requirements and OE reference sourcing define the program scope.

STAGE 02

Product / Process Design

3D scanning, CAD design, design FMEA, mould-flow simulation and tooling design build quality in from the start.

STAGE 03

Product / Process Validation

Prototypes pass the 32-item validation in the HANSUN Lab and are fitted on the original vehicle door.

STAGE 04

Trial Run Production

Pilot runs confirm process capability, control plans and measurement systems before mass production.

STAGE 05

Launch Products

Release with full documentation (PPAP on request), followed by feedback-driven continuous improvement.

Development Toolkit

Why our new programs fit and last.

More than 37 years of experience since 1989, a large OE sample library and full in-house engineering let Han Yale react quickly to customer needs — for both aftermarket (AM) and original equipment (OE) programs.

Always Doors and Samples
01OE Reference

Always Doors and Samples

Every development begins with an original OE sample and the actual vehicle door. Using these references, our engineers analyse the original design and then improve on it to raise durability and performance.

This rigorous approach is the foundation of Han Yale’s 100% fitment rate — every product installs and operates exactly as intended.

  • Original door and OE sample required at kick-off
  • 3D scanning of the OE part and mounting points
  • Design improvements for durability and performance
Large Component Database

Large Component Database

Han Yale’s extensive component database lets us respond quickly and build products that meet customer requirements in a short time. Proven components can be combined and adapted, reducing development lead time for both AM and OE programs.

Simulation Before Steel Is Cut
03Simulation

Simulation Before Steel Is Cut

Simulation software — including 3D mould-flow analysis — is used throughout development to study how parts fill, cool and perform under different scenarios. Potential issues are identified and solved virtually, reducing the risk of failure, improving performance and shortening time-to-market.

In-house Tooling Department
04Tooling

In-house Tooling Department

Han Yale owns its tooling and operates its own CNC tooling department. This gives us full control over development and production quality — and the flexibility to work with customers on specific requirements and custom solutions.

32-Item Product Validation
05Validation

32-Item Product Validation

Before release, each new product passes a rigorous validation programme of 32 checks covering durability, performance and reliability under different driving styles and weather conditions — carried out in our in-house laboratory.

New Products Every Month
06Coverage

New Products Every Month

Han Yale’s objective is to add 100 new SKUs to its range every year. New part numbers are released every month, steadily expanding coverage for American, European and Asian vehicles.
