The Door Control Unit (DCU) is the next step on the same electronics platform that powers our LIN Bus smart window motors. Our Taiwan engineering center already designs the motor control IC, anti-pinch firmware and LIN/CAN integration in-house — the DCU brings these capabilities together into one module for the specified door-control functions.
Han Yale is preparing a DCU development program, with in-house control chips, real-vehicle validation in Taiwan and volume production at our Vietnam facility. We are opening this program to OE and aftermarket partners.

Our smart motor programs provide a foundation in motor control, sensing, firmware and vehicle-network integration for DCU development. These capabilities support an integrated development process and greater control over electronic design and component sourcing.
